Backup and Restore Policy

Last updated July 6, 2026

Backups are part of Aimsparkk Hosting because recovery matters as much as launch. This policy explains how backup coverage is positioned and how restore requests should be handled.

Backup coverage

  • Backup-only hosting includes backup coverage and a restore request path, but does not include managed WordPress troubleshooting.
  • Managed WordPress plans include backup coverage plus a stronger support path for restore planning, plugin/theme risk, and site health.
  • VPS plans receive backup strategy review because heavier workloads may need different storage, retention, and recovery planning.

Restore requests

Clients can request a restore from the hosting dashboard. Aimsparkk reviews the domain, affected site, requested date or reason, and risk before restoring. Restores can overwrite current files, database content, orders, posts, users, forms, settings, or uploads, so confirmation may be required first.

Important limits

No backup system should be treated as the only copy of critical business records. Clients should keep independent copies of important files, customer exports, invoices, legal records, media archives, credentials, and compliance data. Backup availability can be affected by storage failure, corruption, malware timing, third-party systems, and account misuse.
